We are blessed to have Altar Servers trained to reverently assist the clergy at Mass. Altar serving is a beautiful way for young people to become more connected with the Mass and form a close relationship with Jesus through the Eucharist. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) are entrusted with assisting the clergy to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to our homebound parishioners. The primary qualifications are to be devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and be in full union with the Church. All EMHCs must be mandated by the Archbishop on a 3-year cycle. Lectors are responsible for proclaiming the Word of God at Mass. To effectively proclaim, Lectors study Scripture and learn how to engage the attention of the assembly.
