Through the Intercessory Prayer Group, our parish community comes together each month in shared prayer. We invite you to pray the following prayers with us this month, either on your own or with us in the Adoration Chapel on Fridays at 7am.
May we rejoice in the Risen Lord as we continue our journey to be more mindful and practice the Lord's teachings in our daily life as we remain steadfast to strengthen our relationship with the Blessed Trinity.
Lord, we ask for your divine guidance to stimulate dialogue, reconciliation, and wisdom among world leaders in the Middle East. Soften their hearts and inspire decisions rooted in justice so they may turn away from conflict and violence to establish peace in the Middle East.
May we pray for the cessation of verbal vitriol including civic leaders causing anger, hatred, and division which often leads to violence. This pervasive violence manifests itself with attacks against people in public, in schools, against churches, and in our homes. May we oppose this violence by often saying the rosary and openly practicing our faith in public, in private, in our schools, in our churches, and at home.
May the Holy Spirit bless, guide, and inspire our young men and women to discern and enter into a life in the service of the Blessed Trinity.
May the Holy Spirit bless and inspire our priests and bishops to persevere as they guide, enlighten, inspire, and lead the faithful in following the teachings and ways of Christ.
May the Holy Spirit bless, guide, and protect those in Spiritual Warfare, that they be protected and defended in mind, heart, body, and soul against the pervasive influence and evil of the devil, his demons, and his minions. May they proceed with the intercessions and protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the archangel, and the heavenly host of angels.
For each of the many circles of the Altar and Rosary society, a backbone of the church, may they be guided and blessed by the Holy Spirit as they prepare and care for the church, organize and support the many church activities, and perform their angelic works of mercy throughout the year.
May God renew and breathe his Holy Spirit into all efforts of our Respect Life Ministry to end child sacrifice and abortion as they affirm the dignity for all human life, from conception to natural death. For the end of LGBT grooming, sterilization of our children, child and human trafficking and exploitation, and an end to drug trafficking.
For the Knights of Columbus as they continue their service to the Lord, in outreach activities for the handicapped, the youth, pro-life activities, and financial support for seminarians.
Come Holy Spirit, please bless, guide, enlighten and invigorate the parish and all who worship here, those who lead, those who serve, and all Catholics as we grow and find unity in the catechesis, understanding, belief, and practice of God’s word. May there be more awareness, participation, direction, and inspiration in all our OLF ministries.
May our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit pour down graces and blessings to heal those who are on our parish prayer list and those in need in body, mind, and spirit. We ask that they may be healed, grow spiritually, and find comfort in following God’s word and love.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
